Revenge was sweet for Karl Lacey and Donegal, following yesterday’s three point victory over Monaghan in the Ulster final.
The Four Masters man, despite not being named in the starting 15, turned in another sterling performance at centre half back and was once again one of the stars of the victory.
“We have been waiting on this day for 12 months. Last year’s defeat to Monaghan here really did hurt and that win out there today was a sweet one,” Lacey said.
