Busy week for Donegal boxers at the Dockers Club, Belfast

The Ulster Senior and Novice Championships get underway tonight (Tuesday) with 15 contests in the Dockers Club in Belfast.

Raphoe's livewire lightweight Denis Lafferty will be the first Donegal boxer in action when he faces Belfast's Derek Kerr.

The semi-finals take place on Thursday night and Donegal will be strongly represented with five boxers in action - Paul Darby, Raphoe, Charlie Duffy, Dunree, Sean Devine, Letterkenny and Illies duo Oran Shields and Michael McConigley.

They all face still opposition as they hope to make it through to Friday night's finals in the Dockers Club.
