Could there be a chance for Barry McGowan to finally get his own back on Joe Brolly for that goal in 1988 in the Ulster final in Clones?
Or will Brolly still be blowing kisses in Fintra?
The Na Cealla Beaga GAA club in Killybegs are hosting a special fund-raising event this Friday evening at Eamonn Byrne Memorial Park, Fintra.
The event will centre around a special charity match which is planned between the Donegal Masters team and a 1990s South West All Star team.
That is just one of the sideshows which will be on offer. But the main reason behind the fun night is to raise money for charity. The Killybegs club along with its main sponsor, Sea Quest Systems, have organised the event to raise money for the Seaman's Mission in memory of David 'Croc' Meehan, who passed away earlier this year.
The other beneficiaries from the evening include Joe Brolly's charity Opt for Life. The club thank Val Murray for taking his Donegal Masters team along to make it a special occasion. The Donegal Masters are through to the knockout stages of the All-Ireland competition and will use the game as preparation.
As this is a big weekend for sport in the county and it is also a Bank Holiday weekend, what better way to start it off than in Fintra on Friday evening at 7 p.m.
