Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta: B’iontach an deireadh seachtaine a bhí sna Dúnaibh do na cluichí ceannais Contae de Chomórtas Peile na Gaeltachta. Bhí scaiftí móra ag na cluichí agus chan iontas ar bith sin mar go raibh aimsir bhrothallach againn le linn an deireadh seachtaine. Comhghairdeachas leis na foirne uilig a ghlac páirt agus comhghairdeachas leis na buaiteoirí ar fad:
Peil Faoi ---14 ( Gasúraí) Gleann Fhinne.
Peil na mBan.
Sóisear: Na Dúnaibh.
Idirmheánach: Baile na nGallóglach.
Sinsear: Gleann Fhinne.
Peil na bhFear.
Sóiséar: Gaeil Fhánada.
Sinsear: Naomh Conaill.
Tháinig Naomh Conaill fríd i gcluiche na Sinsear agus cúpla poinnte le spáráil acu cé gur shíl daoine nach mbeadh mórán deacrachtaí acu Naomh Columba a chur as bealach. Thaispeáin cuid fear Ghleann Cholmcille spiorad iontach agus sheas siad an fód go cróga. Beidh Naomh Conaill doiligh a chloí sna cluichí náisiúnta, foireann breá acu cé go raibh a gcuid peileadóirí Contae in easnamh
Bhí díomá mhór ar lucht leanúna na nDúnaibh nuair a fuair Gaeil Fhánada an bhuaidh orthu i gcluiche ceannais Sóisir na bhFear. Ach cha raibh leithscéal ar bith ag na Dúnaibh mar go raibh Gaeil Fhánada i bhfad níos fearr ar an lá. Ach beidh lá eile ag na Dúnaibh agus nuair a gheobhaidh siad ar ais cúpla fear atá gortaithe beidh siad i bhfad níos fearr ná mar bhí siad ar an Luan.
Ach comhghairdeachas mór le cuid ban na nDúnaibh, bhí buaidh den scoth acu ar fhoireann Naomh Columba, Gleann Cholmcille. Ba mhór an éacht é mar nach bhfuil an fhoireann seo ach cúpla bliain ar an fhód. Comhghairdeachas mór leis na girseachtaí uilig agus lena bhfoireann bainistíochta.
