Bonner says Donegal have 'clean bill of health' for Cavan opener

Michael Murphy . . . will again captain Donegal in championship

Donegal will have a full deck to choose from when they meet Cavan in the preliminary round of the Ulster Senior Championship in Ballybofey on Sunday (4 p.m.)

This was confirmed by manager, Declan Bonner, at Donegal's pre-match press day this afternoon in the Villa Rose Hotel, Ballybofey.

That means that Ryan McHugh will be back in contention, having not played in the final games of the league due to a concussion issue.

The manager also revealed that Michael Murphy will be captain for the championship campaign, with Hugh McFadden as vice-captain. McFadden was captain for the early part of the league and also lifted the Dr. McKenna Cup as Donegal captain in the Athletic Grounds, Armagh at the end of February.
