Caolan McGonagle scored Buncrana's tow goals against Naomh Ultan

It took five games, but Burt finally got their first league points of the season with a narrow victory over Convoy on Sunday.

Assisted by a strong wind, Burt raced into a 0-5 to 0-1 lead by the tenth minute, with Joe Boyle and Calvin Gallagher on the mark.
Further points from the boot of Boyle had Burt 0-8 to 1-2 ahead at the break. Gavin Sweeney scored the Convoy goal and Peter Blake and John Toye hit the points for the visitors.

First defeat

Killybegs suffered their first defeat of the league season against Gaeil Fhanada on Sunday in Portsalon.

In a keenly contested encounter, Killybegs lined out without Eoghan Bán Gallagher and only introduced Hugh McFadden for the closing ten minutes.
Killybegs had a late chance to salvage a draw but Ryan Cunningham’s 64th minute penalty was well saved by Brendan ‘Nanny’ Friel.
The penalty was awarded after Hugh McFadden had been brought down in the area. McFadden made an instant impact and scored his side’s goal with his first touch after being introduced.
The locals led by a point, 1- 4 to to 0-6 at half-time. Eoghan Carr scored the goal for Gaeil Fhanada.
Despite the defeat Killybegs still top the Division Three table.

Walsh on fire for Naomh Brid

Shane Walsh, Cian Gallagher and Gearoid Gallagher scored the goals as Naomh Brid recorded a runaway win over Moville in Pairc Naomh Brid.

Walsh scored two of the goals and also kicked three points in a man of the match performance for the locals who also had good performances from Ross Gallagher and Eoghan Quinn.
