Bundoran maintained their 100% start to league season with win away to Termon

Bundoran kept up their 100% record with another good away win, this time at the Burn Road against Termon.

Bundoran, who won the toss, elected to play against the breeze, in the first half found themselves 0-7 to 0-2 in arrears at half-time.
Termon had built up this lead with points from Shaun O’Donnell, three from Daire Mc Daid, one each from Steve Mc Ilwaine, Kealan Mc Daid, and Shane Doherty. Bundoran’s marksmen were Jonathan Boyle and Timmy Hourihane.
Indeed Boyle’s point was class as he gathered in midfield and powered on towards Michael Boyle’s goal before unleashing a powerful drive that raised a white flag.
On the resumption livewire Diarmuid Spratt had two points within two minutes for Bundoran followed by points by Timmy Goverov and Hourihane
Then, in the move of the match, Jonathan Boyle was upended in the square en route to goals and Timmy Hourihane scored with aplomb from the spot.
This score put Bundoran ahead, but Termon added a further point from Doherty and a Kealan Mc Daid goal,
But Bundoran hit back with a Goverov goal and a Hourihane point and departed the Burn Road with two useful points.
On this showing Bundoran are likely candidates for returning to Division one next year.
