The scoreboard in Towney tells the story
Milford pulled off a major shock with a draw against Kilcar in Towney but they were full value for the points.
It took two injury time points from captain Patrick McBrearty to save Kilcar's blushes as Milford gave them a huge shock.
The Intermediate champions led 0-10 to 0-8 at half-time and even though Kilcar got back in front, Milford responded and were leading 0-15 to 0-13 as the game entered added time.
Milford were quick out of the blocks with Cathal McGettigan ('45') and Christopher Barrett putting them ahead.
Mark Sweeney and Matthew McClean levelled but four points from Kane Barrett (2), Daragh Black and a McGettigan free had Milford clear.
Matthew McClean and McGettigan traded frees before Stephen McBrearty hit two points inside a minute.
Before half-time Christopher Barrett and McGettigan (free) had Milford points while Patrick McBrearty (free) and Brian O'Donnell responded for the home side.
Kilcar started the second half really well with points from Mark Sweeney, Eoin McHugh and Patrick McBrearty to edge 0-11 to 0-10 in front by the 38th minute.
But Milford had another good patch with Cathal McGettigan (two frees) and Daragh Black, two from play, opening a three point gap. They also had a goal chance taken off the line.
Ciaran McGinley and Patrick McBrearty cut the lead to the minimum with minutes left, but a point from Tony McNamee left two in it, before McBrearty saved Kilcar's blushes in added time.
