Gaoth Dobhair got back to winning ways with a comfortable win in Ballyshannon against Aodh Ruadh.

The result was never really in doubt as the winners led by 0-11 to 1-3 at the break. Aodh Ruadh did contest well in the second half, with an opportunistic goal five minutes from the enb momentarily cutting the lead to four points.
Aodh Ruadh had the backing of a strong breeze in the first half, but it was Gaoth Dobhair who made most of the running. They dominated the opening stages, hitting four unanswered points as the eased up through the gears from Daire O Baoill, Niall Friel, Gavin McBride and Friel again.
The hosts opened their account 13 minutes in. A Nathan Boyle 45 dropped short and was fumbled in the Gaoth Dobhair area. Dylan Gallagher collected the loose ball and coolly smashed to the net.
Four minutes Diarmaid McInerney kicked over a monster of a point from about 50 metres out to level matters.
However Gaoth Dobhair quickly hit back with points from McBride, Michael Carroll and Sean Doherty notching points.
Five minutes from the break Aodh Ruadh had a mini rally with points from Cian Dolan and Diarmaid McInerney
A close range Sean Doherty free was followed by a penalty for Gaoth Dobhair. Kevin Cassidy was clumsily upended for a penalty, but Micheál Carroll blazed his shot well wide of Peter Boyle's left upright.
Gaoth Dobhair raided for the last two points of the half courtesy of James Carroll and Sean Doherty to go in leading on a scoreline of 1-3 to 0-11.
Aodh Ruadh had two goal chances early in the second half, Cian Dolan's effort was well saved while Dylan Gallagher fired wide.
Two Gavin McBride points followed before David Dolan replied for the home side. James Carroll left it 0-14 to 1-4 before McInerney pointed a free and from play.
Daire O Baoill had a goalbound effort tipped over magnificently by Peter Boyle. McInerney pointed a free but two wuick points from Gavin McBride and Sean Doherty left seven between them.
With five minutes left Diarmuid McInerney saw a gap on the Gaoth Dobhair line as he lined up a 13m free and he found the corner. However, Gaoth Dobhair responded with Sean Boyle pointing and then Michael Carroll cutting through to find Eamon McGee to finish to the net.
