PCC Falcarragh hoping to create a little bit of history

The PCC Falcarragh McDevitt Cup squad.

PCC Falcarragh aim to create a bit of history for the school on Friday when they seek a first ever McDevitt Cup Ulster Colleges title.
The Falcarragh college are up against St. Ronan’s College, Lurgan, Co. Armagh in the U-14 ½ final at Owenbeg in Derry (12 noon).
Hopes are high for the Donegal team who have been really impressive in the run-up to tomorrow’s decider.
PCC topped their group having beaten St Columbas College, Stranorlar, PS Ghaoth Dobhair and Carndonagh C.S. They lost their game against Loreto Milford.
A comfortable victory over Holy Cross, Strabane in the quarter-final was followed by a semi-final victory over Loreto Convent, Coleraine after extra time.

Biggest test
This was PCC's biggest test to date. The game was played under floodlights, and some players were playing in these conditions for the first time. A late rally of scores in the second half of extra-time was enough give PCC a narrow victory.
Managed by Brian McDermott, this talented PCC team is made up of players from the St. Michael’s and Cloughaneely clubs with a of 38 players involved for this campaign.
