St. Eunan's U-16s have won the Paul McGirr Cup final following a comprehensive victory over St. Peter's, Warrenpoint in a one-sided final in Dromore on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Gallagher scored three goals as the Letterkenny club cruised to an impressive win, with five of their goals coming in the second half.

St. Eunan's led at half time by four points, 1-6 to 1-2, their goal coming from Darragh Ellison.

However, they took command after the break with Gallagher scoring three goals to help St. Eunan's into a 4-9 to 1-3 lead.

Further goals followed towards the end from Conor O'Donnell and a well taken Patrick Tobin penalty.

St. Eunan's are only the second club from Donegal to win this tournament, following Four Masters' win in the first year of the competition back in 1999.
