In the end it was nothing much more than target practice as they led 0-10 to 0-3 at half-time.
They had points from Michael Hegarty, Stephen McBrearty (3), Eoin McHugh, Andrew McClean and Patrick McBrearty (free) before Hugh McFadden recorded Killybegs’ first score from a placed ball.
Before half-time Patrick McBrearty (2) and Stephen McBrearty had three more points while Kevin Martin and Evan Broderick replied for the Fishermen.
The second half was a similar story with Ciaran McGinley, Stephen McBrearty (2), Patrick McBrearty, Dara O’Donnell and Matthew McClean recording points before Eoin Ban Gallagher had a Killybegs score.
There were a few more consolation scores for Killybegs with Hugh McFadden getting a free, while Michael Hegarty and Mark Sweeney had the last white flags for an impressive Kilcar.
