Four Masters GAA Club hosted a very successful inaugural U11 boys football blitz in Donegal Town on Saturday.

With thirteen teams taking part , over 200 players, and 33 games taking place over the blitz, football was the winner on the day.

The club would like to thank everyone who helped out: the refereess, tea ladies, helpers, managers and all the participating teams and players.

The teams that took part on the day were Four Masters, Robert Emmets, Bundoran, Glenfin, Glenswilly, Buncrana, Naomh Conaill, Pettigo, St Nauls, Ardara, Killybegs, Naomh Muire, and Naomh Brid.

The blitz was split into three groups before going into a Cup and Shield competition depending on group position. Glenswilly won the Cup after beating Four Masters in the final, with Killybegs beating Robert Emmets in the Shield final.
