Chloe Magee can start her preparations for the Rio Olympics after her place on Team Ireland was confirmed today.
The Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) has announced jointly with Badminton Ireland, the Irish Athletic Boxing Association, Gymnastics Ireland and Rowing Ireland, the first 14 athletes who have been formally selected to represent Team Ireland at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Chloe will represent Ireland in the Badminton Women’s Singles.
It’ll be the Raphoe woman’s third Olympics - she previously took part in the Games in London in 2012 and Beijing in 2008.
