Swilly Rovers captured the Colin Breslin Cup on Friday evening thanks to two goals in quick succession in the opening half.
Swilly Rovers . . . . . .2
Drumkeen United . . 1
Drumkeen United did well to make a game of it after that but they were unable to bridge the gap in the final at Diamond Park, Ballyare on Friday evening.
The vital strikes came either side of the 30 minute part with Matthew Sweeney and Mark Wilson getting the goals which gave Swilly breathing space.
Drumkeen did a great comeback in the second half with Eoghan Kennedy pulling on back with 20 minutes left and they probably should have got on level terms in the final ten minutes with Conor Patton spurning a great chance. But when they lost defender Paddy Dolan to a second card, their chances diminshed
