Ardara made St. Eunan's fight all the way for the league points on Friday night, despite losing county player, Paddy McGrath ten minutes from the end of the opening half.
Ardara 3-4 ..............St. Eunan's 0-15
McGrath went off with a leg injury which will worry the Donegal senior management ahead of the Ulster Championship.
Despite losing their county player, the home side ended the first half a point in front, 2-2 to 0-7. However, the Letterkenny side were stronger in the second half and kept their unbeatan run in the league intact.
The game saw the return to action of underage star, Rory Carr, who could yet play a part at senior level for Donegal this summer.
Two Ardara goals from Gareth Concarr and Jack Brennan had Ardara three points to the good midway through the opening half but St. Eunan's fought back with David Tyrell on the scoreboard to level matters before Aaron Bennett had Ardara a point to the good at the break.
The second half, however, saw St. Eunan's setting the pace with Conall Dunne levelling and at one stage they went five clear.
A late CJ Molloy goal put a better gloss on the scoreboard for the home side.
