Gaoth Dobhair chalked up another big win with a comfortable twelve point victory over Realt Na Mara, in Gaelic Park, Bundoran on Saturday evening.

Teenage full-forward Gavin McBride once again impressed in front of the posts to hit a goal and seven points for the men from the Gaeltacht who simply had too much in their locker for an understrength local side..
Gaoth Dobhair were three points up thanks to Michael McKelvey, Kevin Cassidy and McBride inside nine minutes before Tommy Hourihane raised Realt Na Mara’s first white flag on ten minutes.
Michael M Eniff and Odhran Niallais traded points before McKelvey and McBride, with a monster free on 25 minutes, extended the Gaoth Dobhair lead.
Shortly after the visitors lost MacNiallais and the locals lost Adam Brennan to black cards in separate incidents.
Then on the stroke of half-time McBride hit another fine free for a 0-8 to 0-3 lead for Gaoth Dobhair at the interval.
Cian Mulligan and Christy Keaney traded points on the resumption before McBride and Kevin Cassidy extended the Gaoth Dobhair lead out to seven points.
While Hourihane reduced the gap to six McBride struck for the first of the Gaoth Dobhair goals The locals responded with points from Keaney, Hourihane and Adam Russell while Bundoran’s best player on the night Paul Brennan played a key role in all three scores.
But that was as good as it got for the locals as Daire O’Baoill, Michael Carroll, McBride and Cassidy all pointed before in injury time Cassidy pounced for Gaoth Dobhair’s second goal.
Jamie Brennan had the locals’ last point ten minutes from the end.
