Maxi Curran is to remain on as Donegal U-21 football team manager for another year.
Curran, a member of Jim McGuinness’s backroom and who has managed the U-21s for the last two seasons, will take charge of the panel for 2014.
The extension to his term was ratified at Monday night’s Donegal county committee meeting in Ballybofey.
The Downings man led Donegal to this season’s Ulster final following wins over Tyrone and Derry, before losing to Cavan in the final.
He took over form Jim McGuinness at the end of 2011 and in his first year in the job Donegal lost away to Tyrone in the first round. Curran also managed Donegal ladies to All-Ireland Junior Championship success back in 2013 and also managed Donegal at minor level.
