The All-Ireland Féile comes to the club this week with three teams competing. The U14 boys
won through to Feile by winning last year’s Co. U13 title and they will travel to the Loup
(Derry) where they will be hosted and play their games starting with the hosts on Friday at 1:30pm before taking on Sean Stinson’s (Antrim) and the Burren (Down) on Saturday. The U-13 boys are in Division 5 and will host St. Anne’s from Dublin, who they will meet in O’Donnell Park on Friday afternoon from 1:30pm and on Saturday they travel to St. Michael’s, in Derry.
The U-14 girls are also hosting this year and their guests will be West Clare Gaels who they will meet on Friday in O’Donnell Park before hosting the games on Saturday including Kilkenny City and Naomh Conaill. O’Donnell Park will also host the Division Two girl’s semi-finals on Saturday evening from 4 pm.
All teams will take part in the parade in Derry City on Friday evening from 7pm.
The Seniors had no game last week and will meet Naomh Conaill at home in the final round robin game in this year’s Championship on Sunday in the Park with a 3 pm throw-in.
The Reserves travelled to Gaoth Dobhair and came away with another impressive victory despite missing several players winning by 2-10 to 0-11. They too will take on Naomh Conaill in the reserve championship.
The U-14 boys had a big win over Naomh Padraig, Muff in their championship quarter final in Buncrana on Monday night and will meet either Ardara or Naomh Conaill in the county semi-final on Wednesday, July 3 rd.
The U-16 league has been put back by a week. The Division One team will take on St. Mary’s, Convoy away in their first game with the Division Two team also on their travels to Cloughaneely.
The U12’s will make the short journey to play the Gaels next Monday, while the U-11s will be at home to MacCumhaills.
The minor hurlers play Burt in the B League final this Thursday at 7 pm in the new pitch. The U-14 hurlers beat Burt in the A championship quarter Final. They now play Buncrana in the semi-final.
We are holding Cúl Camps in O’Donnell Park again this year with football on July 22 nd and hurling and camogie on August 12 th.
Na Cealla Beaga
Na Cealla Beaga host Termon next Saturday 29th June in the Senior and Reserve championship. The U-16 team are away to Naomh Columba on Friday evening in the League.
The U-14 team are playing Naomh Columba in the Division Two regional championship on Wednesday the 26th at 7.30pm in Ardara. The club wish Dillon Doogan a speedy recovery from injury.
The Club are hosting an U 10 Blitz on Saturday the 6th of July, in Fintra beginning at 11.30am. Teams taking part are Killybegs, Ardara, Glennullin, Magherafelt, Ballinascreen, Dromore, Enniskillen and Ballina.
The Club are holding a 5k Run / Walk on Saturday the 29th June, Registration and changing facilities at Saint Catherines Vocational School; from 1 pm. The race commences at 2 pm. Entry: Adults: €10 Juvenile: €5, There will be refreshments served in the Vocational School after the Race. There are prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category.

The Killotto had no winner this week. Numbers were 5, 22, 27, 30. Match three €120 winner was Anthony O’Hara. Next week’s jackpot is €950 and Willie Tully’s team are on selling duty. The seniors play Robert Emmets this weekend in the championship. The game is fixed for Saturday evening in Dooey with a 7.30pm throw in.
The U-16s start their season with a home tie against Four Masters, this Friday evening, in Dooey. Throw in 7.30pm
The U-12s continue their league campaign with a home tie against Kilcar. The club 50 draw took place last Monday evening in the hall. Congratulations to Danny Bonner on winning 300 euro and to Martin O Donnell on winning second prize of 100 euro.
The club lotto jackpot was not won at the weekend. Numbers drawn were 5,10,16 & 24. Two lucky dip winners receive 50 euro Joe McCready and Keltic Mick.
Week 10 of Gaelic4Girls and our girls are now progressing into U-10 and U-12 teams and fixtures will be made for Blitz’s. We are in a group with Gaoth Dobhair, Cloich Cheann Fhaola and Naomh Micheal.
Plans are being put in place now for the trip to Croke Park on the 15th of July where we will have two teams competing in the national G4G Blitz.
We will have a 9 a-side G4G team competing in mini blitz game at half time in the Ulster ladies senior championship final in Celtic Park Derry on the 14th of July.
The next U14 girls match is in Kilcar on Thursday evening the 27th of June.

The U-12s have had a good week with two wins at home to Four Masters and away to Dungloe. Their next game is away to St. Nauls next Monday.

This years Runegal around Hornhead is being run by St. Michael’s GAA Club on the 13th July.
There was no Jackpot winner in the Mini Lotto on Sunday night Sunday last. The numbers drawn were 5,11,13,16,17,18; ,there were no match 5 winners. Twelve people matched four and their names were drawn. The winner of the €100 was James Bond Derryfad Creeslough. This weeks jackpot will be €3,450.
The €150 on the Snowball game at the Bingo session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was shared between Brid McGinley, Main Street, Dunfanaghy and Geraldine Alcorn, Hornhead, Dunfanaghy who won €75 each.
This weeks Snowball at the Bingo Session, in Dunfanaghy at 8pm in the Ozanam Community Centre will be €4,640.
This year’s Cul Camp will take place from Monday July 29th until Friday August 2nd.
The U-14s travelled to Newtown on Wednesday evening lstto play Malin in the shield semi final. Two evenly matched teams traded points throughout the game. Eoghan Kelly scored the crucial point to give St. Michael’s the win. Eoghan Kelly, Kyle McGarvey and Patrick McGinley were on good form for St. Michael’s.
They played Burt, om Friday evening in the Shield final losing to a late Burt goal.
The U-12s were away to Downings on Monday evening last. The B’s played first and soon found themselves under severe pressure from superior opposition. Downings ran out convincing winners but Jack Hanlon in particular stood out for St. Michael’s.
The A’s lined up next and soon got in a commanding rhythm and went in at half time seven points to the good. There was no let up in the second half with St. Michael’s eventually winning on a scoreline of 3-12 to 0-6. Carlos O’Reilly was dominant as he controlled the game from midfield and Callum Friel scored some great points from half back.
The U-8s travelled to Falcarragh for a Blitz on Saturday morning. The A team had two draws with Conor Neely and Jamie Brennan the standout players.
The B’s came away with three draws and Aoibheann McGinley, Thomas Hughes and Cassie Friel played major parts in that.
There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 3,7,21 and 23. Two prizes of €50 went to Cathie Connell, Lough Fad and John O’Malley, Station Road. Next weeks jackpot is €2,700.
The U12s had a comprehensive victory over St Nauls on Monday night.
This weekend Derry is hosting Feile Peile na nÓg and we are hosting the U14 boys from O’Donovan Rossa, Belfast and the U14 girls from Kilkenny city.
The U16’s had a good victory over Killybegs winning 3-13 to 1-04. This Friday 28th June they are home to Aodh Ruadh at 7.30pm.
The Thirds had a good win over St. Eunans, at home last Friday.
Both the seniors and reserves are back in championship action this weekend when they both take on St Eunans, in O Donnell Park.
Well done to Ian Molloy who was linesman at the Ulster minor semi final on Sunday in Cavan.

The monthly senior club meeting takes place on Thursday 27th June in Aras Aoidh Ruadh 8.30pm. And
there is a meeting of Bord na nÓg next Tuesday, 25th June in Aras Aoidh Ruaidh at 8pm.
The U-16s earned a 1-9 to 2-4 win over Naomh Columba last Friday. There were some magnificent performances in defence. The composed Conor Kennedy was called upon to make a number of timely interventions and he was very ably assisted at the back by Daniel Warnock and Caolán Drummond. Ryan McKenna worked hard and turned over a lot of ball.
Aodh Ruadh were well served in midfield where Eugene Drummond and Oisín Rooney were in dominant form. In the attack Shane McGrath showed great industry. The under 16’s next match sees them travel to Glenties to take on Naomh Conaill next Monday 1st July at 7.30pm.
The U-12s went down on a scoreline of 1-1 to 6-7 against Killybegs on Monday evening. Aodh Ruadh’s scores came from Shane Gillespie who put away a penalty and Eoin Doherty who got in for a point, but Adam Clarke also deserves a mention for persisting in carrying the fight to the Fishermen up front. Senan Rooney did well in the centre of the field in trying conditions, while Matthew McDonald was strong and determined at full back.
The annual U-10 Michael Shannon tournament takes place on Saturday, 6th July at 11am in Fr. Tierney Park. Senior and junior teams from Aodh Ruadh, Grange, Glencar / Manorhamilton and Erne Gaels will be competing.
Peter McKenna and Alan Sweeny are organising a recreational football league. The league is expected to commence shortly once teams have been finalised. Aodh Ruadh go in to senior hurling championship on Wednesday 3rd July when they travel to Setanta for their first round clash.
The long awaited minor hurling league final between Aodh Ruadh and Buncrana takes place this Thursday in Convoy throw in at 7.30 pm.
The under 14 hurlers played MacCumhaill’s in the semi-final of the championship last Thursday in Convoy. The boys put in their most impressive performance of the year to date and ran out convincing winners on a 6-6 to 4-6 score line.
On Saturday the U-14 hurlers then travelled to Lavey in Derry to take part in the Féile Uladh tournament. They had convincing wins over Naomh Colmcille of Tyrone, Castleblayney of Monaghan and Tir na nÓg of Antrim. Their only defeat was in very controversial circumstances against host club Lavey.
Aodh Ruadh Juvenile Hurling Committee are holding their annual cash for clothes collection for the month of June, any unwanted clothes, shoes, handbags, belts, bed linen and the like are more than welcome. The girls U-14 team scored a good win at home against Naomh Conaill on Wednesday night last week on a scoreline of 4-6 to 1-2.
Exiled Sham, Simon Gillespie is a big shot in New York GAA now and he’s bringing over a group of US parents and children on a trip to Ballyshannon and Derry for the All-Ireland Féile.
His team will be playing Aodh Ruadh on 5.30 pm this Tuesday, 25 June in Fr. Tierney Park. They will then be on the road straight away to take on Bundoran at 6.30pm.

The fourth annual Darren McGinley Memorial Tournament takes place this Saturday, June 29th with Naomh Conaill, Naomh Náille, Na Cealla Beaga, Termon, Cill Chartha, and St Theresa’s from Loughmacrory in County Tyrone taking part. Naomh Columba have two teams in competition which includes a Cup and Shield (A & B) competition. Games are scheduled to start promptly at 11.00am. Once again we would be grateful for home baked goods, and any food donations can be left in the club kitchen from early morning.
The U-14 girls are home to Ardara on Thursday evening. Throw in at 6pm at Páirc na nGael. The U-16s lads are in league action on Friday evening, when they host Killybegs.
The senior reserves face Naomh Bríd in the championship preliminary round play off on Sunday afternoon,in Dunkineely.
The club are launching a silver circle draw, and sellers will visit households over the coming weeks. Tickets cost €10 a week for five weeks, and the weekly prizes are as follows: €1000, €500, €200, and three prizes of €100.
The first draw will take place on Tuesday, August 13th.

The monster lucky dip draw was launched in Owenies Bar on Saturday night. There will be €5,000 in prizes ranging from €3,000 cash, two All-Ireland tickets, weekend away, a racer bike and a iPad etc. The format of the draw is as follows, we have a drum with envelopes labelled with numbers from 1 to 2000, so you pay what you pick, you pick out number 2, you pay 2 cent, you pick out the number 200, you pay €2.00 euro, you pick out the number 1850, you pay €18.50 etc, so you could win €3,000 for as little as 1 cent.
The drum will be available at the bingo Sunday night and will also be available in Rosses Park at the Dungloe versus Gweedore Championship match this coming Sunday, where Eamon Kelly will be at hand to roll the drum and pick out your number.
The U-12s played two games in the last week first of all they hosted St.Nauls which ended in a draw 2-7 each, Dara Gallagher, Donal Walsh and Dillon Boyle all showed well. Last Monday night they travelled to Donegal Town and came away with a good victory 3-05 t0 1-04 Oran Mc Gonagle, Ben Boyle, Dillon Boyle and Ethan Ward all playing well. The B team also played two games this week winning both with a home victory over St. Nauls and an away win to Four Masters, Dan Bonner, Eimhin O’ Donnell and Damien Duddy all playing their part.
On Monday night the U14s booked their place in the Championship semi-final after beating Four Masters in Ardara on a score line of 8-08 to 4-11, they now go on to play Ardara. All the latest fixtures can be viewed on the Donegal web site under The Southern Board.
The GAA Cul camps start Monday the 1st of July in Dungloe GAA pitch at 10am until 2.30pm for boys and girls aged 6 years to 13 years until Friday the 5th of July. The cost of the week is €55 per child, €45 for the second child and €40 for the third child in the same family. Included in the package is a football strip and a kit bag. The U-14 girls travelled to Swatragh in Derry to take part in the Ulster Camogie Feile 2013. The first match was against Aghaderg from Co Down. The girls got off to a flying start scoring an incredible 9-2. In their second match they defeated Burt to book place in the final against Castleblaney. In the final every girl played their part in a first ever Ulster Camogie Feile title. Chloe Kennedy who was awarded player of the match. Well done to each and every girl and to Geraldine, Don, Eileen, Eamonn and Mary. The girls now play in the All Ireland Feile in Limerick next month.
The I-14 boys lost their final by two points. They were beaten by Eoghan Rua.
The reserves played Termon on Saturday night in MacCumhaill Park. Termon seemed to be the physically stronger of the two teams but MacCumhaills played well in patches of the first half. Good scores from Stephen Mulligan and Shane Duffy saw them go into the break two points down. The second half started well with a cracker of a goal from Alan Patton but MacCumhaills let Termon back into the game and they took a three point lead which they never relinquished. Termon were the deserving winners. Scorers for MacCumhaills were Stephen Mulligan 0-3, David White 0-2, Alan Patton 1-0, Aaron Kelly Mickey Patton, Ogilvy McGroarty, Shane Duffy and Mark Dorrian, 0-1 each.
There were no winners of the lotto this week. Numbers drawn were 7,10, 15 and 23.

The U-14 girls had a comfortable win over Muff with great performances coming from everyone especially all the younger girl.
The Cúl Camp dates are the 1st to the 5th of July. Kellogs this year are offering a promotion, when you register online with their unique code you get €5 off per child. This GAA themed group will continue on Saturdays from 10-11am. It has been extremely successful.
Carrick Field will be closed from 8th July for the remainder of the season for the new pitch, managers are asked to book the astro pitch through Mary McDermott.

There will be a Multi-Sports ‘Come n Try’ Day for Boys & Girls aged 9-12years at Inver Community Centre from 11am-3.30pm this Saturday the 25th May. Registration is at 10.50am. Lunch will also be provided, there is no charge. Everything on the day is FREE!

St. Mary’s (Convoy)
The ladies won away to Kilcar on Friday evening, 3-9 to 0-1. St Mary’s scorers were D.Mc Elhinney 2-2 C.Browne 1-2 K.Wilson, 0-2 E.Wilson 0-1 C.DeWard 0-1 and G.Gallagher 0-1.
The U-12s were defeated at home by Red Hughs while the U-14 girls recorded a fine win over Red Hughs at home on Thursday with a good overall team.
This year’s CUL CAMP which takes place from July 1st to July 5th. A free bus will run from Raphoe and Drumkeen each day Children bring their own lunch and drinks . Contact Stephanie on 0877618831.
Reserves Had No Game this weekend.
The Lotto numbers for 18/06/13 were 4. 8, 5, 2, 7, 3, 6. 1. Barry McDermott matched the first four numbers and won €60. Next week’s Jackpot: €800.

Tir Chonaill Gaels
Best to luck to the U-14 boys and girls that will represent the club at the Féile Peile na nÓg, in Derry, this weekend.
The boys are Sean Rice, Conor Redmond, Christopher McFadden and Daniel O’Connor and they will be hosted by Glenullin GFC.
The girls are Shannan Campbell, Connie Lynch, Michaela Mannion and Rosie Holland.
TCG Youth will host a mini-tournament and fun night to take place at the club this Friday night. There will be gaelic football for all of our underage groups followed by a few sports games (parents included)medals to be won - with buffet afterwards in the clubhouse.
The U-14 boys played Muff in the all county league final on Wednesday evening last in Convoy. Although defeated the team had impressive displays from Cathair Doherty, Brian Diver, Ross Marley and Shay Doherty who scored nine points on the night.
They will complete their season this weekend when they participate in the National Feile peile na nOg finals in Derry.
The club are hosting the Cavan U14 champions for the weekend. The U-16 league competition is now due to commence on Friday the 5th July.

This years Summer Camp gets under way on the 19th July , early booking is advisable.

Hard luck to Aisling McHugh and Aoife Donnelly who were part of the Donegal U16 Ladies team that were defeated by a strong Monaghan team 5-14 to 2-4 last week.
This year’s Cul Camp will take place at Moyle Park, Milford, from 1st July - 5th July (10am - 2.30pm) for all boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13. Cost of the camp is €55 for the 1st child, €45 for the 2nd, €40 for the third and subsequent. Each child will receive a Kellogg’s GAA Cul Camps kit and kit bag. There is also a €5 discount available online, find a unique code inside promotional packs of Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies and register online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/ to avail of this discount.
Elverys Sports are also running a GAA camp for boys aged between 13 and 15 years of age. This camp aims to allow youths to get an insight into the life of an inter-county player in an action packed week that will include conditioned games, skills development, mental preparation, sports nutrition and athletic development.

The Donegal camp will be led by county captain Michael Murphy and will also feature Leo McLoone, Paddy McBrearty, Michael Boyle and Eamonn McGee.
The u14 team feature prominently this week. Following a magnificent victory over Termon in the semi-final on Friday, they take on Robert Emmetts in the Division 3 county final this Wednesday. And a few days later the team take part in Feile Peile na nOg,
In Feile they take on Monaghan Harps at Pairc Colmcille on Friday 28th June at 1:30 pm. Glenswilly have replaced St. Nauls in our section, so we now travel to Glenswilly on Saturday morning (29th June) to take on St. Brigids (Roscommon) and Glenswilly.
The u12s visited Lifford on Monday evening in their last away league fixture of the year. A number of players were unavailable so both teams suffered defeats on the night. The next fixture for both teams is at home to Buncrana on Monday (24th) at 7:00 pm.
The Naomh Colmcille Cul Camp is due to take place on 8-12 July.
