Eamonn Cleary’s double hat-trick enabled Erne Wanderers to hammer Gweedore United to finish the season on a high.

Cleary opened the scoring before the break and added a second and third soon after the restart. The, Erne had a free on the right and Cleary flicked it on at front post and it found the net at the back post for his fourth. Darren McNulty lobbed one in at back post and got number six within minutes. Cleary rounded off the scoring for Erne with two more near post finishes.

Milford United’s fate has long since been confirmed and they were hammered on Saturday at Dunfanaghy Town.

Patrick McMullen opened the scoring before Liam Langan made it two with a great looping header. Langan did make it 3-0, volleying home well from a corner. Dunfanaghy completed the scoring just before the end when John McFadden headed into the empty net.

Fintown Harps won a top of the table clash against Ramelton Mariners thanks to Brian Delaney’s last minute winner on Saturday in Glenties.

The hosts took the lead when Aaron Thompson shot into the back of the net. Ramelton’s Damien Mc Cannon made it 1-1 when he got on to a cross and he tapped home. Delaney made no mistake in scoring a late winner.

Cranford and Donegal Town played out a hard fought 1 -1 draw at Cranford Park.

Donegal Town wnet in front when Ridhi turned well in the box and he finished with a great strike in the bottom corner. Cranford then equalised when Arthur Lynch was played through and cooly chipped the keeper from 30 yards.

Glenea United came out on top by the odd goal in three to get the better of Glenree United on Saturday.

The scoring was opened when Seamus McGroary slotted home after a defensive error. Glenree levelled when John Coll to blast the ball into the top corner of the net. The away side clinched the winner when Mark Gallagher at the back post to tap it in.

Downtown came away with all three points in their game against Tullyvinney Rovers.

The away team went in front when John Duffy scored but Downtown drew level when Gerard Patton rose highest. They added their second when Patton outpaced the Tullyvinney defence and Redmond Doherty made it 3-1. Tullyvinney pulled one back through Duffy.
