AN TEARMANN: Curaidh na hÉireann agus BanCuraidh na hÉireann. Ní minic go dtiocfadh le club a rá go bhfuil dhá chraobh uile Éireann buailte acu ar lá amháin, ach sin mar a bhí sé i nGaoth Dobhair nuair a bhain mná an Tearmainn i gcoinne Cill Chomáin ó Mhaigh Eo chun an tríú croabh na hÉireann as a chéile a bhaint. Bhí an corn sin tógtha ag na girseacha ón chluiche ag meán lae, agus ansin bhí foireann sinsear An Tearmainn ag imirt in aghaidh Naomh Náille ag a dó. Cluiche cruinn, teannta a bhí ann ar dtús, ach le sár obair ón fhoireann ar fad, d’éirigh leo roimh leath ama cúl agus neart pointe a chur eatarthu. Lean an cluiche ar aghaidh mar an gcéanna sa dara leath, agus cé go bhfuair Naomh Náille cic éirice sa bhomaite deireanach, bhí go leor déanta ag fir An Tearmainn chun an cluiche agus an chéad Chraobh na Gaeltachta náisiúnta a thógáil na bhaile leo. Tá achan duine fíor bródúil as na foirne seo ar lá stairiúil don Tearmann. Maith sibh go léir idir imreoirí, bainistíocht agus foireann tacaíochta na bhfoireann, agus an lucht tacaíochta a thaisteal go Gaoth Dobhair, agus a bhain an oiread sin sult as na cluichí thar deireadh seachtaine ar dóigh.
