Busy weekend for schoolboys

It was a busy weekend with a number of our teams in National Cup action.

It was a busy weekend with a number of our teams in National Cup action.

We will have a comprehensive report on all the National Cup action so far in the local press later this week. Some points that we wish to highlight are the beginning of the U-12 league in the East Division. This will commence on Saturday next, October 8. Again the fixtures will appear later in the weeks later press. The leagues around the Divisions are all progressing well with no weather interruptions so far so we look forward to getting the champion’s league for the U-16s started on schedule. The 1999 trials continue next Friday night at the Finn Valley Athletuic Centre in Stranorlar with all four divisions in action. That will be a great couple of hours of entertainment from out county team hopefuls. Gerry Crossan will also be releasing details later this week about the future direction of the 2000 trials.
