Deaths in Donegal

The Donegal Democrat has been informed of the following deaths:

- Jack Foley, 18 Hillhead, Castlefin and formerly of Ballindrait

- Breda Neilan, née McGlynn, Millbrook Lawns, Dublin and formerly of Donegal

- John Mc Nally, 61 Carrick Strand, Strabane and formerly of Letterkenny

- Andy Dill, formerly of Gortcally, Kerrykeel and England

- Charlie Doherty, 'Charlie Tharlaí Mhacaí, Ballindrait, Bunbeg

- Noel Slowey 'Anguilla' Old Moy Heights, Ballina, Mayo and late of Ardara

- Johnny Clinton, Lagboy, Tamney, Fanad

- Dessie Larkin, Doon, Glebe, New Mills, Letterkenny

Jack Foley, 18 Hillhead, Castlefin and formerly of Ballindrait

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Jack Foley, 18 Hillhead, Castlefin and formerly of Tober, Ballindrait.

Remains reposing at his son Barry's home, Hillhead Road, Castlefinn.

Funeral leaving his son's home on Friday, March 22 at 10.20am for Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Castlefin at 11am.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Breda Neilan, née McGlynn, Millbrook Lawns, Dublin and formerly of Donegal

The death has taken place of Breda Neilan, née McGlynn, Millbrook Lawns, Dublin 24, formerly of Meenagoland, Fintown, Co Donegal.

Her remains will repose at her late residence on Thursday, March 21, from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday, March 22 to St Dominic's Church, Tallaght, arriving for 2pm Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, Harolds Cross c/o any family member.

John Mc Nally, 61 Carrick Strand, Strabane and formerly of Letterkenny

The death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of John Mc Nally, 61 Carrick Strand, Strabane and formerly of Letterkenny.

Reposing at his son Eddie Mc Daid's home, 10 Lansdowne Park, Strabane on Thursday, March 21 from 2pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Friday afternoon, March 22 at 12.45pm for cremation in Lakelands Crematorium at 2.45pm.

Andy Dill, formerly of Gortcally, Kerrykeel and England

The death has taken place in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire of Andy Dill, formerly of Gortcally, Kerrykeel.

Funeral service in St Mary's Church, 71 Old Linsdale Road, Heath and Reach, Leighton Buzzard on Tuesday, April 2 at 12.30pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Charlie Doherty, 'Charlie Tharlaí Mhacaí, Ballindrait, Bunbeg

The death has taken place of Charlie Doherty, 'Charlie Tharlaí Mhacaí,' Ballindrait, Bunbeg.

Formal Principal Teacher of Min na Gablann School, Leitirmacaward.

Reposing at his neice Deirdre and Michael Gallagher's home, Fanaboy, Gortahork from 11am on Wednesday March 20.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

House private from 11pm to 10am, rosary nightly at 9pm.

Noel Slowey 'Anguilla' Old Moy Heights, Ballina, Mayo and late of Ardara

The death has taken place of Noel Slowey 'Anguilla,' Old Moy Heights, Ballina, Mayo and late of Ardara.

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach's Cathedral on Thursday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Private cremation will take place afterwards in Shannon Crematorium. House private please, donations if desired to Croí, C/o McGowan’s Funeral Directors.

Johnny Clinton, Lagboy, Tamney, Fanad

The death has occurred of Johnny Clinton, Lagboy, Tamney, Fanad.

His remains will be removed from his residence on Thursday, March 21 at 11.30am going to St Columba's Church, Massmount for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosary each night at 10pm.

Dessie Larkin, Doon, Glebe, New Mills, Letterkenny

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Dessie Larkin, Doon, Glebe, New Mills, Letterkenny.

Administration with Donegal County Council and former Mayor of Letterkenny Town Council and Donegal County Council.

Remains reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Friday, March 22 going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 12noon, followed by interment afterwards in Conwal cemetery.

Family time on the morning of the funeral please.
