Deaths in Donegal, Sunday morning, July 29

The Donegal Democrat has been informed of the following deaths:

- Kathleen McGinley, Annagry

- Ellen Jane (Jean) Hayes, née McGrory of Distillery Road, Wexford and formerly of Ballybofey

- Michael Doherty  Urris, Clonmany

- Alan Kee, Glenties

- Margaret Grady, Middlesex, England, formerly of Letterkenny 

- Joe Somers, Magheracar, Bundoran  

- Brian Boyle, Castle Doe, Creeslough 

 

Kathleen McGinley, Calhame, Annagry

The death has taken place at Dungloe Community Hospital of Kathleen McGinley, Calhame, Annagry.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Removal from there on Monday (July 30) at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry. 

Burial afterwards in the new graveyard.

Rosary at 9pm.

House private from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Dungloe Community Hospital c/o any family member or Stephen O’Donnell & Sons, Funeral Directors. 

Ellen Jane (Jean) Hayes, née McGrory, Distillery Road, Wexford and formerly of Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Ellen Jane (Jean) Hayes, née McGrory of Distillery Road, Wexford and formerly of Ballybofey.

Reposing at Mackens Funeral Home on Saturday from 2pm with removal at 8pm to The Church of the Assumption, Bride St.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am followed by burial afterwards in St. Ibar's Cemetery, Crosstown.

Michael Doherty Kerrigan, Tiernasligo, Urris, Clonmany

The death has occurred of  Michael Doherty Kerrigan, Tiernasligo, Urris, Clonmany.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Monday at 10.30am going to St Michael’s Church, Urris for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 10pm until 10am.

Alan Kee (Butcher), Main Street, Glenties

The death has taken place at University Hospital Galway of Alan Kee (Butcher), Main Street, Glenties.

Removal on Saturday took place at 4pm from Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara, to the home of his brother Ronnie and  Bridget Kee, Mullantyboyle, Glenties.

Removal from there on Monday, July 30 to the Church Of Ireland, Church Road, Glenties, for service at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Family time from 11pm until 10am and on the day of the funeral.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Church Of Ireland, Glenties, c/o James McGuinness & Sons Funeral Directors, Main Street, Glenties.

Margaret Grady, Middlesex, England, formerly of Letterkenny and Ballinasloe

The death has occurred of Margaret Grady, 92 South Bury Road, Enfield, Middlesex and formerly of Letterkenny and Kilclooney, Ballinasloe.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, July 29 at 12.30pm in St Teresa's Church, Killure, Ballinasloe. Interment afterwards of her ashes in Kilclooney Cemetery, Ballinasloe.

Joe Somers, Magheracar, Bundoran

The death has taken place of Joe Somers, Bundoran.

Remains reposed at his late residence on Saturday from 10am to 6pm. House private at all other times please.  

Removal took place on Saturday evening to St. Aidan's Church, Kinlough.

Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Sunday followed by private Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. No flowers please.

Brian Boyle, Castle Doe, Creeslough

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Brian Boyle, Castle Doe, Creeslough.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral Mass in St Micheal’s Church, Creeslough on Sunday at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Doe Castle Cemetery.

Family time from 11pm to 10am.
