Donegal boxer Jason Quigley made it six wins from six professional fights since joining the professional ranks in the US on Thursday night.
The Twin Towns’ boxer proved too hot to handle for seasoned American Joshua Snyder with a stunning knockout 44 seconds into round two of a four round contest at the Fantasy Springs ,Casino in California
Former Irish Elite Senior National middleweight champion, Quigley, 23 dispensed with the American with considerable ease.
It was Quigley’s sixth win inside the distance since joining the ranks of the professional game and is another step on the road to crack at a World title.
Synder, with 21 professional bout in his long career behind, him was a step up in class for the Twin Towns’ fighter from his five previous opponents. The American went into Thursday night’s bout on the back of five straight defeats, albeit one of them included going the distance with WBO title challenger Matt Koroboy.
Koroboy is the boxer Limerick man Andy Lee stopped in the sixth round last December, in his World title fight on his way to becoming World champion.
There was a sizeable Donegal crowd ringside at the Fantasy Spring Casino to witness Quigley’s latest success and climb up the World Middleweight contenders’ table.
