Last Sunday Teelin Bay, under Slieve League, was the venue for round four of the Donegal Skiff Rowing Season.
An entry of 78 crews (390 competitors) was the largest Skiff Regatta of the season so far year. Glorious weather added to the success of the event which was organised by the host club Iomartha Theilinn.
A bumper of close on 1000 spectators turned out to watch the racing which included a category for the traditional boat ‘the punt’. This category which had an entry of four boats attracted a lot of attention. Overall the programme included 29 very competitive races.
