Members of the Three Rivers Shotokan Club in Lifford travelled to Belfast to take part in the 25th North South championships under the JKS Ireland banner last weekend.
This event saw clubs from Scotland, England and all over Ireland descend on the Royal Belfast Academical Institution to take part.
With both individual and team events on the day, it was all go from the start. Great excitement was generated during the individual matches and true to form, the members of Three Rivers continued to bring home the medals with Natasha Doherty winning gold and both Emma Dolan and Ciarán Crawford lifting bronze in their events.
Next up was the team event in which Natasha, Emma and Jamie-Lee Simpson won gold in their group. Ciarán was part of an u14 group with Jack Donaghey and Ruben Dunbar from Strabane Shotokan, and they fought off stiff opposition to also take first place.
