The Backing Ballyshannon Christmas Fayre is back by popular demand this Sunday, December 9, from 12noon to 4pm in Dorrian’s Hotel.
This special seasonal event, run in association with Ballyshannon Business Chamber, proved a big hit last year with all ages and was a welcome boon to local businesses. It’s is a tremendous showcase for local businesses, crafts people and services, giving them an ideal chance to exhibit what they have to offer customers this Christmas.
As for shoppers, the Christmas Fayre is an ideal way to discover unique presents while ‘keeping it local’.
With over 30 stands, representing everything from clothing boutiques, furniture and flowers to handmade jewellery, woodturning, sweets, hampers, decorations and more, there’s everything you need to see you through this Christmas season. And, what’s more, there will be lots of special offers, ensuring you get the best value.
It wouldn’t be a Christmas Fayre without plenty of samples and treats to enjoy on the day as well.
Some of the cast of Abbamia, from Colaisate Cholmcille will be there to entertain, with some of Abba’s greatest hits.
One of the organisers, Mary Daly said: “We are delighted that Donegal Local Development Company has become involved this year, under Goal 3 of the Local and Community Development Programme 2012, which aims to support those considering starting up their own business, as well as supporting established businesses.”
