A Donegal pensioner has appeared in court on ten charges of sexual assault.
The allegations involve one alleged female victim, between November 2014 and August 2016, at unknown locations in county Donegal.
The man is charged with ten counts of sexual assault under section 2 of the Criminal Law Rape Amendment Act 1990, as amended by section 37 of the Sex Offenders Act 2001.
He was remanded on bail on condition that he signs once a week at his local Garda station and that he is contactable by phone 24 hours a day.
He was also ordered not to interfere with State witnesses.
The court heard that the Director of Prosecutions has consented for the case to be sent forward to the circuit court.
Legal aid was granted in the case.
The case was adjourned until a court sitting June for preparation of the book of evidence.
