Hopes of Easter egg hunts in the snow begin to fade

Hopes of hunting for Easter eggs in the snow are fading as temperatures continue to rise across the country.

Today will be a bright day with sunny spells and there will be some scattered showers. Some of the showers will be of hail or sleet. Highest afternoon temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees.

Tonight will be mostly dry with showers confined to coastal areas. Frost will develop under clear skies. There will be some mist and fog and lowest temperatures are forecast to be between -1 to +2 degrees.

Tomorrow will be another bright day with sunny intervals. Scattered showers will develop during the late morning and afternoon mainly across southern parts of the province.
