A leading US company which has a large plant in Letterkenny have established a satellite hub in Donegal town to facilitate the travel arrangements for many of their team.

Pramerica is now the largest private employer in Donegal and one that puts a strong emphasis on the working environment of its employees.

Team
In a recent initiative Pramerica has now opened a new satellite hub in the Donegal Town Community Centre facility which houses up on 20 of their team.
Bernie Mulhern of the Donegal Community Chamber said: “This is a major boost to the town and to its reputation for attracting prestige companies.
“This is not a move away for their successful Letterkenny plant but a facility for their employees who live in the south and west of the county.
“It takes away the necessity of travelling on a daily basis for those living in Donegal town and its environs to Letterkenny. With less time spent in the car, I’m sure it also increases productivity as well as being attractive to their team.”
Mary McGettigan, Manager of the Enterprise Centre, added: “Pramerica have totally refurbished their space into a state of the art facility and it is a great endorsement of Donegal town. Donegal County Council have been great in facilitating this in every way.
“With massive expansion in Abbott and in the adjacent Moll Industries this area is becoming a desired location for high end industries in Donegal town.”
