Today, any snow will turn to rain again during the morning and temperatures will rise to between 8 and 10 degrees.
The rain will clear later in the morning to sunny spells and showers of rain, hail and perhaps sleet.
It will turn colder again with temperatures by evening between 2 and 5 degrees. Winds will be variable in direction and blustery at times
Tonight wintry showers will continue with some snow accumulations locally again. Lowest temperatures between -1 and +3 degrees, with a widespread frost further inland and a risk of icy roads.

Sunday, St Patrick's Day will be a rather cold day with sunny spells and occasional showers of rain or hail. Highest temperatures will be between 7 and 9 degrees in moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.
