Loretta McGlinchey, Golard, Donegal town

The death has taken place of Loretta McGlinchey, Golard, Donegal town.

Remains reposing at McGloin’s Funeral Home, Cliffoney on Friday from 2pm until 6pm, with removal to St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra, to arrive for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the Solas Cancer Support Group, Donegal town. House private please.

Patrick Campbell, Dublin and formerly of Lower Keadue

The death has occurred at the Mater Hospital of Patrick Campbell, Dublin and formerly of Lower Keadue.

His remains will be reposing in McGlynns funeral homeon Friday at 6pm and rosary at 9pm.

Viewing on Saturday from 3pm with Removal at 5pm going to St Mary’s Church Kincasslagh for 5.30pm where he will repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 10am with interment afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery.

Brigid Quirke, née Gillespie, Manchester, formerly of Linsfort, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Manchester England of Brigid Quirke, née Gillespie, formerly of Leophin, Linsfort, Buncrana.

Funeral Mass will take place in St Bernadette’s Church, Whitefield,Manchester on Tuesday, March 19 at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Bury Cemetery.

Jack Patton, 26 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar

The death has occurred at St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar of Jack Patton, 26 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar.

His remains will repose at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey, this Thursday evening March 14 from 7pm until rosary at 9pm.

Removal from there on Friday at 6.45pm to arrive at the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, at 7pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon, March 16 at 1pm, with interment afterwards in Stranorlar cemetery.

Zita McCloskey, née McGuinness, Main Street Glenties

The death has taken place of Zita McCloskey, née McGuinness, Main Street Glenties.

Remains reposing at her home on Main Street Glenties from 1pm on Thursday, March 14.

Removal from there on Saturday, March 16 to St.Connells church Glenties for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Rosary each night at 9pm.

Family time from 11pm until 11am.

Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only donations in lieu of desired to the oncology ward Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.

Mary Twomey, Towney, Kilcar

The death has taken place of Mary Twomey, Towney, Kilcar.

Removal from Harbour Lights Nursing Home on Thursday evening at 5pm to arrive at St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon. Interment afterward in Kilcar cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Harbour Lights Comfort Fund or Alzheimer Society, Donegal, C/o any family member.

Mark Gallagher, 87 Blue Cedars, Ballybofey

The death has occurred at University Hospital, Galway of Mark Gallagher, 87 Blue Cedars, Ballybofey.

Remains reposing at his Home today Thursday, March 14 from 7pm until rosary at 10pm, and on Friday, March 15 from 11am until rosary at 10pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Saturday, March 16 at 10.20am for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, with interment afterwards in Drumboe cemetery.

Family time on the morning of the funeral, please.

Pat and Margaret Doherty, 3 Riverview Terrace, Milltown, Convoy

The deaths have taken place of Pat and Margaret Doherty, 3 Riverview Terrace, Milltown, Convoy.

Pat and Margaret’s remains will be arrived at St Mary’s Church, Convoy on Thursday, March 14.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 15 at 2pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Donations in lieu if desired to St. Vincent De Paul, Convoy Conference c/o any family member.

Eileen Sheils, Umlagh, Carrigart

The death has taken place at Donegal Hospice of Eileen Sheils, Umlagh, Carrigart.

Reposing at her late residence.

Funeral from there on Saturday to the Church of St John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in Lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.

Family time from 11pm to 11am

Eileen Coll, Main Street, Carrigart and Cotteen, Derrybeg

The sudden death has taken place of Eileen Coll, Main Street, Carrigart and Cotteen, Derrybeg.

Reposing at her late residence in Cotteen, Derrybeg.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Family time from after the rosary until 10am.

Robert (Bob) Hargan, Bray, Wicklow and Burnfoot

The death has occurred of Robert (Bob) Hargan, Bray, Wicklow and Burnfoot.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday, March 15 from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, March 16 at 11am in St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

Alice O'Connor, née Diver, formerly of Donegal town and Phibsboro

The death has taken place of Alice O'Connor, née Diver, formerly of Donegal town and Phibsboro, Dublin. 

Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Trim, C15 NC59, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimer Society of Ireland

Owen O'Neill, St Joseph's Avenue, Donegal Town and formerly of Mountcharles

The death has taken place of Owen O'Neill, St Joseph's Avenue, Donegal Town and formerly of Mountcharles. 

His remains will be reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Thursday from 4pm, with removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles to arrive at 6.30pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Rowanfield House, Donegal Town, c/o Gallagher Funeral Directors Mountcharles or any family member.

Una Coyle, née Griffin, Drumnahoe, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Una Coyle, née Griffin, Drumnahoe, Letterkenny.

Reposing at her home. Rosary tonight at 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning, March 15 at 11am in the Church of the Irish Martyrs with interment after in Conwal Cemetery.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Pasqueline Blake, née Keeney, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Pasqueline Blake, née Keeney, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny.

Pasqueline Blake was a designer, bridal suite proprietor, Special Needs Assistant (SNA) and an art therapist.

The removal will take place from the Donegal Hospice on Wednesday evening on March 13 at 5pm going to her home to repose.

Funeral from there on Saturday, March 16 going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 2pm.

Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Flowers welcome or donations if wished to the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital and the Donegal Hospice.

Maeve Shovlin, Brenter, Dunkineely

The death has taken place of Maeve Shovlin, Brenter, Dunkineely. 

Remains reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass in St. Naul’s Church Ardaghey on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in Ardaghey cemetery.
