Donegal GAA turned the sod on its new €2.2 million clubroom and changing rooms at the county’s training centre in Convoy today (Tuesday).

The complex will consist of seven dressing rooms and ancillary rooms on the ground floor and a large hall and gymnasium as well as offices and canteen on the second floor.

It will also include a small spectator stand.

The building when complete will be the headquarters for Donegal GAA.

McDermott and Trearty Construction are the main contractors for the development.

Donegal chairman, Mick McGrath, told the launch that the machines had moved in this morning and work had begun on the development.
