The annual North West 10k charity road race and walk proved another fantastic success in Letterkenny on Sunday with big crowds taking part and many out to support along the route.

The summer sunshine didn't really help those taking part as most would prefer a cooler day.

But the intense heat aside, conditions were ideal and once again, there were some really impressive individual performances in the various caterories.

The race was won by Conor Bradley in a time of 32 minutes and 16 seconds while Theresa Doherty of Finn Valley AC was the first female in 36 minutes, 8 seconds.

A big well done to all. See Tuesday's Donegal Democrat/Donegal People's Press for full coverage.
