The death has taken place of Josie Farren, formerly of Grove Cottages, Muff.

Reposing at her home, 5 Faughanview Park, Claudy, Co. Derry.

Funeral from there on Friday at 10am for 11am requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Muff.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 11am please.

Neil Mc Dermott formerly of Barnes Upper, Termon, Letterkenny

The death has taken place in Broomall, Pennyslvania, U.S.A of Neil Mc Dermott formerly of Barnes Upper, Termon, Letterkenny.

Mass of Christain Burial in St Pius X Church, Broomall on Saturday 21st April at 10a.m.

Interment to follow.

William (Willie) Glenn formerly of Murlough, Lifford

The death has taken place of William (Willie) Glenn at the residence of his son Alaster, 53 Bonds Glen Road, Donemana and formerly of Murlough, Lifford.

Funeral from his son’s residence on Friday at 12.45pm for service at Ballylennon Presbyterian Church at 2pm and burial afterwards in the family plot in adjoining cemetery.

House private at the request of the deceased. Family & friends welcome.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Alzheimers Society Donegal Branch c/o Gibson Funeral Directors Convoy.

Denis (Dinny) Ward,  21 Erne Dale Heights, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of Denis (Dinny) Ward,  21 Erne Dale Heights, Ballyshannon at the North West Hospice, Sligo.

Ann Doohan, Meenlaragh, Gortahork

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Ann Doohan, Meenlaragh, Gortahork.

Reposing at her late residence. Funeral from there on Friday for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary both nights at 10.00pm. House private after Rosary till 11.00am.

Mark Begley, Killorglin, Co Kerry, formerly of Main Street, Pettigo

The death has taken place of Mark Begley, Killorglin, Co Kerry, formerly of Main Street, Pettigo.

Remains reposing in his parents’ home on Main Street, Pettigo from 11.00am on Saturday morning. Removal of remains on Sunday at 10.45am to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Pettigo for requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards to adjoining cemetery. House private on morning of removal please. Geraldine McNeely nee Travers, Kildoney, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of Geraldine McNeely nee Travers, Kildoney, Ballyshannon.

House strictly private please. Remains going to St. Patrick’s Church on Thursday morning for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s cemetery, the Rock, Ballyshannon. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Oncology Unit Sligo University Hospital c/o any family member or McGee Funeral Directors Ballyshannon.

Betty Carr, The Grove, Stranorlar

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Betty Carr, The Grove, Stranorlar.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Wednesday, April 18th from 7pm until rosary at 10 pm, and on Thursday April 19th from 1pm until rosary at 10pm.

Funeral leaving her Home on Friday April 20th at 10.40am for requiem mass at 11 am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, with interment afterwards in Drumboe cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired,to the Donegal Hospice, care of any family member.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Bertie Speer, late of Della Vista, Shore Road, Portnablagh

The death has taken place at St. Eunan’s Nursing Home, Woodlands,
Letterkenny of Bertie Speer, late of Della Vista”Shore Road, Portnablagh.

Hi remains will repose at St. Eunan’s Nursing Home on Friday April 20th from 2p.m. till
3p.m followed by burial in Gortlee cemetery.

Ursula McElhinney (née McLaughlin), Glack, Carndonagh

The death has taken place of Ursula McElhinney (née McLaughlin), Glack, Carndonagh.

Removal from the Beach Hill Nursing Home, Lisfannon, Buncrana this afternoon, Wednesday 18th April at 4pm going to her daughter Martina Donaghy’s residence Glack, Carndonagh.

Funeral from there on Friday morning, 20th April at 10.15am to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Beach Hill Nursing Home c/o any family member.

Jim McGeoghegan, Coventry, England and formerly Isle of Doagh, Clonmany

The death has taken place of Jim McGeoghegan, Coventry, England and formerly Isle of Doagh, Clonmany.

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Eddie Farren, St. Paul’s Park, Greencastle.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Tuesday April 17th at 10pm, going to his residence.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later. Family time please from 11pm. until 11am.

The death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Mary Helen Mc Daid late of Heatherlea, Ourt, Gleneely.

Removal from Carndonagh Community Hospital Chapel of Rest on Tuesday evening April 17th at 7pm, going to her residence.

Funeral from there on Thursday April 19th at 10.15 for 11a.m. requiem mass in St. Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time please from 11p.m. until 10a.m.
