Letterkenny University Hospital Emergency Dept.
A total of 28 patients were awaiting beds this morning at Letterkenny and Sligo hospitals.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) released the figures as part of its Trolley Watch initiative.
At Letterkenny University Hospital, eleven patients were on trolleys while a further ten were in wards. This is by a third from last Friday, when thirteen patients were on trolleys and one was on a ward awaiting a bed.
There was acute overcrowding there last week, with 45 patients on trolleys on Wednesday and the maximum capacity protocol was put in place for most of the week.
At Sligo University Hospital this morning, there were seven patients on trolleys.
