Death notices for Friday, November 18th

George Adair, Aighan, Bruckless

The death has taken place of occurred of George Adair, Aighan, Bruckless, Donegal.

Reposing at his late residence. Removal on Saturday at 1.30 pm to Dunkineely Methodist Church for Funeral Service at 2pm, followed by burial in Killaghtee Graveyard. 

Family flowers only please. 

Donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice or Dunkineely Methodist Church.

 

John-Joe cleary, Main Street, Clonmany

The death has taken place of John-Joe cleary, Main Street, Clonmany.

Removal from his late reidence on Saturday, November 19th, to St. Mary’s Church, Clonmany for 11am Requiem Mass. 

Burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

 

Charlie Gallagher, Ardara

The death has taken place of Charlie Gallagher, Common, Ardara.

Reposing at the residence of his sister Margaret McGill, Cashel, Ardara from 5pm today, Removal from the residence of his sister Margaret McGill, Cashel, Ardara, Friday, at 12.30pm to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for Requiem Mass at 1pm. 

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. 

 

Victor Laird, Glenmaquin

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Victor Laird, Glenmaquin, Letterkenny. 

House private and on the morning of the funeral. Family and friends welcome. 

Funeral from his late residence on Saturday at 1pm for Service at Convoy Presbyterian Church. Burial afterwards in the family plot. 

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to ICU, Letterkenny University Hospital care of Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

 

Margaret McKenna, Stranorlar and Portaferry, Co Down

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Margaret McKenna, 4 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar and Portaferry, Co Down.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool's Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey on Friday from 7pm until rosary at 10pm. 

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday at 10.30 am for 11am Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar followed by interment in Glenfin Cemetery.

 

Annie Friel, Raphoe and Lettermacaward

The death has occurred of Annie Friel (née Annie Naoise) late of Friels Hotel, The Diamond, Raphoe and Lettermacaward.

Funeral today, Friday at St Eunan's Church, Raphoe, for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. 

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Barnes View Ward, St Joseph's Hospital, Stranorlar and Lourdes Invalid Fund.
