The club lotto numbers for September were DY, GY, KY,WX and there were five match five winners. They were Sarah and Emily Patton, Nora McElhinney, Manus Harkin, Eunan McBride and McHugh’s, Convoy. Next week jackpot is €4200.

The U-16 girls have county semi-final coming up against Gaoth Dobhair. Time and venue tbc.
Well done to the U-13 girls who played a challenge game versus McCools a great overall team performance with the girls improving with every match.
Hard Luck to our senior men who were beaten by Urris by a point on Saturday night, in county semi-final.
There will be a clean up on Saturday at the pitch if anyone wishes to help out is more than welcome.
The club wish to say a massive thank you to all who came along and supported us with the official opening of our new clubhouse on Sunday.
Many thanks to all who helped out in any way, players, team coaches, parents, guests, musicians, those who helped with the catering/food (donations of home baking), car parking, side shows, photos and club merchandise. The official opening was performed by Mairtin Mac Aibhne, president of the Ulster GAA Council and the new Bishop of Derry, Donal McKeown blessed the clubhouse
The senior men beat Convoy in the junior championship semi-final on Saturday night.They now face Naomh Ultan in the final on October 12th.
The ladies play Red Hughs in the semi-final of the Junior B Championship on Saturday at 12 noon.
Club Urris winners for September were €50-John Farren, Ballyliffin, €30-Paul Friel, Boston and €20-Jimmy Donaghey, Dunaff.
The Match “N” Win numbers drawn for September 25th were 4, 12, 18 & 22. The jackpot was not won. The €15 winners: Harkin family, Annaugh, Philip Porter, Rooskey, John Joe Cleary, Cross, Josie McDonald, C/o Bingo and Claire Mc Carron, 3 Cleagh. Jackpot next week is €820. The seniors and reserves got their respective championship campaigns underway in front of a large crowd in Connolly Park on Sunday. Unfortunately neither side were able to record victories. Next up are Naomh Conaill.
The club are hoping to run a supporters bus to Saturdays games. Anyone interested in booking a seat is asked to contact David Gallagher on 086 8073786.
The U10/U8/U6 girls will start back this Saturday the 4th of October from 11 am to 12.30 pm. All girls from junior infants to third class are invited to attend.

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €1500, sequence drawn was 2-7-5-3-6-4-1. The €50 winner was Tara Kelly, Drumcarbit. Winner of the €20 sellers prize was N and R Kelly, Drumcarbit. Next weeks jackpot is €1550.

The ladies play Urris in the championship semi-final this Saturday with a 12 noon throw in.
The men resume training this week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7 pm.
U8s and U10s training has finished up for this year. Well done to all the children and coaches for all their hard work throughout the year.
The U13 girls are awaiting on the fixtures for round two. The lads have finished their league campaign for the year and unfortunately were unsuccessful and securing a play off place. Training continues on Friday evenings at 6.30 pm in preparation for the championship.
The U-16 lost out on Friday evening to St Eunans B in the shield quarter final in Letterkenny. That brings them to the end of their football season for this year.
The numbers drawn were 5,8,2,7,6,3,4,1. One winner matched 3 numbers Tony Sweeney, Dromore Park and won €50
Next weeks Jackpot is €4,450. The 100 Club winner this week was number Kevin McColgan, Garrison Hill. Kevin won €100.
The club extend their sympathy to the Patterson family Ardnaganna and the Doherty family Gleneely on their recent family bereavements.
The hurlers took on Burt in this years senior county final at O’Donnell Park on Saturday afternoon.
There were no winners of this weeks Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 4,8,25 and 28. There was one match 3 winner. Seamus Faulkner won €150. Next week’s Jackpot is €10,000.
The U-13 girls travelled to Convoy on Sunday morning. They played three short games against St Marys, and put in some great displays. Some of our young boys and girls traveled to Moy in Co Tyrone to takepart in the Tir Na nOg Under 8 competition.
The seniors got off to a great start in the championship group stage on Sunday. After the long trek to Carndonagh, our young side claimed a 7 point win. This Saturday they play Milford in Pairc na nGael at 5.30 pm and a win here would be a massive step towards the quarter finals. The reserves get their championship underway against the same opposition at 4pm. Ádh mhóir go dtí na dhá foireann.
The U16s had another good win in the championship, with a comprehensive home win over Naomh Ultan. The second leg takes place this Saturday in Dunkineely at 2pm.
The ladies finished their year with a draw in Pairc na nGael against local rivals Kilcar. The club would like to thank Kenneth, Colin and all the girls for all their hard work over the year.
The parish league came to an end last Thursday with yet more excitement on the field. Carrick/Teelin got the better of UTR in the Shield final, then in a cracker of a match, Cashel got a last second’s goal to beat Malins in the Cup final. Massive thanks to all the players, coaches, referees and supporters who made this competition such a great success.
Finally, the club would like to congratulate reserve stalwarts Terence and Majella Boyle on the birth of Fionn, and Brian and Martina McGinley on the birth of Oisín. Hopefully we’ll see them both in the green and gold some day, but one of them might be the green of Ardara.

Both the seniors .and reserves won their opening championship game against Termon. Both teams play Gaoth Dobhair.
Congratulations to the U-13 hurlers who won the Ulster U-13 Shield competition in the Derry, on Sunday. Dungloe faced Dungannon a team that had beaten them by a point in the preliminary rounds held over the previous two weekends. Dungloe won in a tight competitive game on a score line of 5.3 to 4.2.
Dungloe led from the start but a Dungannon revival in the second half drew them level before Dungloe pulled away. Aidan McHugh played a storming debut scoring three goals and Brendan Boyle and Conor Diver both scored great individual efforts. Michael McNulty and Ben Boyle and Philip Noble added the points. The Dungloe defence was strong with great performances in particular by joint captain Odhran Mcgonagle who was immense and one terrific diving save by Darragh ward in goal. The Dungloe team was, Darragh Ward, Joe Greene, Joe Doyle, Michael Greene, Jake O’ Mahony, Noah Boyle, Neil Noble, Odhran McGonagle, Ben Boyle, Philip Noble, Brendan Boyle, Michael McNulty, James Hartnett, Aidan McHugh, Philip Rodgers, Conor Hunter, Conor Diver, Brendan O’Donnell, Gerard Glackin, Sean O’Donnell and Evan Forker .

Dungloe advanced to Southern Division Two final with a hard fought win against a very competitive Naomh Ultan side.
The first half was dominated by both defences and scores were hard to come by. Half time score was Dungloe 0-8, Naomh Ultan 1-2.
Two second half goals for Dungloe from Aiden McHugh and Jerome Boyle eased Dungloe into a nine point lead halfway into the second half, Naomh Ultan rallied in the last 15 minutes to set up a nail biting finish.
Best for Dungloe were Aidann McHugh, Daire Gallagher, Adam McCaffrey, Dominic Doherty and Jerome Boyle.
Comhghairdeas le girseachaí faoi 16 a bhain craobh na condae. A huge congratulations to the ladies under 16s who beat Fanad Gaels in the U-16 Championship final in Letterkenny. Great credit to management and players for bringing yet another title back to the Banks.
Following their opening Group match loss to Naomh Conaill in the Banks on Saturday night - The seniors and reserves travel to Letterkenny and O’Donnell Park on Sunday next to play their second match against St Eunan’s.
The club had the honour of hosting the under 12 County between Naomh Conaill and Termon. Once again the club members turned out to help with getting the pitch ready, operating the kitchen and making the place worthy of a final venue. Congratulations to Termon who won both A and B games.
The lotto numbers drawn were 2-11-15-16. The jackpot was not won. There was one match three winner Ciaran Gallagher,Mullach Dubh. Next week’s Jackpot €2120.
Well done to seniors against Ardara in championship, earning a draw in a tough encounter at Tir Conaill Park on Sunday. Hard luck to reserves. Both teams are out again in Championship next Saturday.
The club would like to sincerely thank members and non members that gave their time stewarding or assisting in any capacity with the homecoming last week.
