Gardaí investigating a shooting in which a man in his fifties was injured have interviewed a number of people.
The man received what are believed to be shotgun wounds in the incident which occurred in the Glenswilly area near Churchill at 10.30am on Saturday.
The injured man was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital and then transferred to Galway University Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A Garda spokesman said yesterday that no arrests had been made and the investigation is continuing.
The man who was injured is understood to have been in the cab of a digger in the townland of Ballinakilla when he was approached by another man who allegedly opened fire.
