South Donegal Vintage and Heritage Club raises €47,000 for charity

South Donegal Vintage and Heritage club members present cheque to Annette Cunningham , Donegal Hospice PRO.

South Donegal Vintage and Heritage Club held their annual presentation night in The Limit Bar & Restaurant, Ballyshannon where the large turnout for the presentation enjoyed complimentary refreshments and finger food.
Lorraine, Secretary of the Club, would like to thank the management and staff for their kind gesture. At this presentation a phenomenal amount of money, €47,205 in total, was presented.
The money raised and given to Donegal Hospice will be used to purchase a chair, "The ultimate rise and recline chair" and will be in the Hospice ward in Donegal Town Community Hospital. The remaining money will be used to purchase a syringe driver, also for the local community.
The money raised and given to SHOUT (€13,600), will be used to purchase an Ultrasound Bladder Scanner and the balance will be used to purchase lockers for the Oncology Ward.
The vintage club members always like to know what the money is going towards and they like to keep it in the community. The club would also like to thank everyone who supported them in their fundraising efforts. They said despite the torrential rain and heavy hailstone showers on the day of their annual event they are proud of their achievement.
