St Eunan’s GAA Club are giving away a Letterkenny house in their Super House Draw for 2017.

There are 10 prizes up for grabs, topped off by the opportunity to win a house in Rann Mór, in Letterkenny. It has been 10 years since the club’s last house draw.

Over the past 20 years, St. Eunan’s GAA Club has developed O’Donnell Park into a top-class facility capable of hosting inter-county games as well as several county finals, across football, hurling and camogie.

The club hopes to further enhance the grounds with development of a 4G Astroturf surface to benefit not only St. Eunan’s GAA but the wider Letterkenny and Donegal GAA communities. They are calling on the people of Letterkenny and friends in other GAA clubs across Donegal, Ulster and Ireland to support this massive undertaking.

O’Donnell Park is home to a 2,500-seated stand, six dressing rooms, a training pitch and modern clubhouse. In recent years, inter-county football returned to the park.

Donegal senior hurlers call O’Donnell Park home for their National League and Championship matches; and the park regularly hosts championship quarter-final and semi-final club matches and Northern Board and County Children’s Board underage matches

LYIT Men’s and Ladies teams play at O’Donnell Park and the grounds are used by local secondary schools. The club does their best to accommodate as many requests as possible, and the new surface will enhance their ability to make O’Donnell Park available to teams and groups.

They have secured funding from the Capital Sports Grant and under grant criteria they have a deadline to raise a matching amount, otherwise it is lost. It’s a big venture, but one the club feel is necessary and doable with the support of members and other friends throughout the island of Ireland and beyond.

Over the last 12 to 24 months there have been some signs of a recovery. However, it has become increasingly difficult for those who graduated from college or managed to land their first job to get a foothold on the property ladder. With this in mind, the club feel the time is right to again offer the opportunity for one lucky person to win the home of their dreams – a home valued at €155K plus another 25K+ in prizes.

Tickets are €100 and can be purchased from most club members and at outlets including The Mount Errigal Hotel; Blake’s Bar; The Brewery Bar and Macs Mace. They can also be purchased online at clubs/st_eunans.
