The death has taken place of Jim Golden, Ballymagroarty, Ballintra. At Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, Mullinasole, Laghey. Reposing today at his residence from 2pm until 10pm. Removal on Friday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Bridget’s Church, Ballintra with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, to Julie Mundy, The Alzeimher Society, Donegal Town, c/o any family member.

Catherine Granaghan, Ballinacarrick, Ballyshannon

The death had taken place of Catherine Granaghan, (known as Cassie), Ballinacarrick, Ballyshannon at the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo.

Removal this morning at 11.15am to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, the Rock, Ballyshannon, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery, Ballyshannon.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo, C/o Patrick Mc Kenna Funeral Directors or any family members. House private to family this morning.

Billy Harte, Ballyduff Terrace, Lifford

The death has taken place of Billy Harte, Ballyduff Terrace, Lifford. Remains reposing at his home today Thursday, April 4 from 2pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Saturday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11am.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Donegal Hospice c/o Quigley Funeral Directors, 1A Newtown Place, Strabane.

William George Neely, Carrick, Trentagh

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of William George Neely, Carrick, Trentagh.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny at 4pm on Wednesday afternoon, April 3 going to Trentagh Presbyterian Church.

Viewing both nights from 5pm – 9pm in the church

Service on Friday afternoon, April 5 at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Geoffrey Browne, St Eunan’s Terrace, Raphoe

The sudden death has taken place in England of Geoffrey Browne, formerly of St Eunan's Terrace, Raphoe.

Reposing at his mother's residence, Cavan Hill, Lifford on Thursday, April 4 from 5pm.

Funeral from there on Friday afternoon, April 5 at 1.30pm for service in Ballindrait Presbyterian Church at 2pm with burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o Gibson Funeral Directors Convoy.

The death has taken place of Jim Golden, Ballymagroarty, Ballintra at Áras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, Mulllinasole.

Removal from the nursing home on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm, going to his residence to repose until 10pm.

Reposing on Thursday from 2pm until 10pm. Removal on Friday for 11am Funeral Mass in St Bridget's Church, Ballintra with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, to Julie Mundy, The Alzeimher   Society, Donegal Town, c/o any family member..

Catherine Granaghan, 'Cassie' Ballinacarrick, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of Catherine Granaghan, 'Cassie' Ballinacarrick, Ballyshannon.

Reposing at her daughter Marie and son-in-law Paul's residence in Ballinacarrick on Wednesday from 12noon until 10pm. 

Removal on Thursday at 11.15 to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, the Rock, Ballshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery, Ballyshannon. 

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo, C/o Patrick Mc Kenna funeral directors or any family members.  House private to family on the morning of the funeral please. 

Michael Mc Daniel, Carrowreagh Road, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at the Foyle Hospice of Michael Mc Daniel (Jock) of Carrowreagh Road, Carndonagh. 

His remains are reposing at his brother Duncan Mc Daniel (Jock) residence at Carrowreagh Road, Carndonagh.

Funeral from there on Friday at 10.30am to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Foyle Hospice, any family member or Pat Kelly Funeral Director.

Margaret Ellen (Nellie), Drein, formerly of 150 Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny

The death has taken place at Archview Nursing Home of Margaret Ellen (Nellie), Drein, formally of 150 Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny.

Her remains will repose at her daughter, Mrs Mary (Girlie) Gallagher's residence, 22 Muckish Avenue, Letterkenny.

Removal from there on Wednesday, April 3 at 6.10pm going to St Eunan's Cathedral for 6.30pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 4 at 10am in the Cathedral and burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Owen Gallagher (Cicily), Meenmore, Dungloe

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Owen Gallagher (Cicily), Meenmore, Dungloe.

Reposing at his late residence. Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, April 4 at 11am in St Columba's Church, Acres with interment afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery.

House private on Tuesday, April 2 and on the morning of the funeral.

John Joseph Doherty (Lynch), Cregnahorna, Carndonagh

The death has occurred in Nottingham, England of John Joseph Doherty (Lynch), Cregnahorna, Carndonagh.

His remains will repose at his late residence in Cregnahorna, Carndonagh. 

Funeral leaving his home on Thursday at 10.15am to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 11pm to 10am.

Damien McCarron, formerly of The Matador Bar, Muff 

The death has taken place of Damien McCarron, formerly of The Matador Bar, Muff.

Funeral from his home, 10 Larkhill, Steelstown, Derry on Thursday, April 4 at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Muff.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Billy Black, 36 Ard McCool, Stranorlar

The death has taken place at St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar of Billy Black, 36 Ard McCool, Stranorlar.

His remains are reposing at McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey, with visiting time on Tuesday, April 2 from 7pm until 10pm.

Removal from there on Wednesday, April 3 at 12noon for service of thanksgiving at Stranorlar Parish Church at 12.30pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Neil Doherty, Bundoran
 
The death has taken place peacefully at Sligo University Hospital of Neil Doherty, known locally as Dutch, 4 Mountain View, West End, Bundoran, and formerly of Strabane, Co Tyrone.

Reposing at his late residence and on Tuesday, April 2 from 10am to 10pm.

House strictly private at all other times please.

Removal on Wednesday morning, April 3 to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Dublin, care of donation box at family home and Church, or to Conlan and Breslin Funeral Directors on 0862492036.

Anthony Walklate, Samier Drive, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of Anthony Walklate, known as Tony, late of Samier Drive, Ballyshannon, and formerly of Stoke-on-Trent, England. 

Reposing at the residence of Pat Melly, Westport, Ballyshannon on Wednesday from 5pm until 9pm. Removal on Thursday from Pat Melly’s residence at 9.30am to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, the Rock, Ballyshannon, for funeral service at 10am, with interment in adjoining cemetery.
