Deaths in Donegal, Wednesday morning, May 9th, 2018

The Donegal Democrat has been informed of the following deaths:

- Michael O'Shea, Killiney, Dublin and formerly of Rathmullan and Kilmacrennan

- Rose McBrearty, Towney, Kilcar

- Jimmy Cullen, Gortnabrade, Carrigart

- Allie Wymbs, Wardhouse, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim

- Cathal Cunningham, Knocknacarra and formerly of Carrick

Michael O'Shea, Killiney, Dublin and formerly of Rathmullan and Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred of Michael O'Shea from Killiney, Dublin and formerly of Rathmullan.

Reposing on Thursday in Quinn’s Funeral Home, Ballybrack Village from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Friday to S.S. Alphonsus and Columba Church, Ballybrack arriving at 10.50am for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, to R.N.L.I. Ned’s Point, Lough Swilly, Buncrana, Co Donegal. House private please.

Rose McBrearty, Towney, Kilcar

The death has taken place of Rose McBrearty, Towney, Kilcar.

Removal from her residence on Thursday at 11.30am for Funeral Mass in St. Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, at 12 noon.

Jimmy Cullen, Gortnabrade, Carrigart

The death has taken place at Ramelton Nursing Unit of Jimmy Cullen, Gortnabrade, Carrigart.

 
His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Wednesday going to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Carrigart for requiem mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Ramelton Nursing Unit c/o any family member.

Allie Wymbs, Wardhouse, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim

The death has occurred of Allie Wymbs, Wardhouse, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim formerly of Tawley.  Reposing at her home on Tuesday evening from 8pm.  

Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Tullaghan on Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon.  Burial afterwards in Ahamlish Cemetery. House private to family and close friends on Wednesday morning please.

 
Cathal Cunningham, Knocknacarra and formerly of Carrick

The death has taken place of Cathal Cunningham, Knocknacarra and formerly of Carrick.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Tuesday, May 8th from 5pm with Removal at 7pm to the Augustinian Church.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Funeral to Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations (if desired) to Cancer Care West.
