The Donegal Democrat has been informed of the following deaths:

- Frances Quigg late of Gulladuff, Moville

- Margaret McCallion, Ballyraine Road, Letterkenny

- Bernard (Ben) Malachy Gallagher, Darney, Bruckless

- Jim Cunningham, Main Street, Carrick

- Josephine McGowan, The Glebe, Stranorlar

- Neilly Andy McGonagle, Cruit Island, Kincasslagh

- Michael Keon, Glenties and formerly Portnoo

- Robert Hutchinson, Buncrana

- Francis Coyle, 6 Devenish Park, Garrison Co. Fermanagh and formerly of Laughill Belleek

Gene McGinley, Drumbern, Milford

The death has taken place of Gene McGinley, Drumbern, Milford. Remains reposing at his late residence from 6pm today, Saturday.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford. Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery

Family time from 11pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Rehab Unit Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.

Susan Diver, Gortnaskeagh, Kilmacrennan

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Susan Diver, Gortnaskeagh, Kilmacrennan.

Remains reposing at her late residence.

Funeral service on Sunday at 3pm in Kilmacrennan Church of Ireland.

Burial afterwards in the Church yard.

House private please. Family, friends and neighbours welcome.

Ellen Wakefield nee Boyce, Glen, Carrigart

The death has taken place in Liverpool of Ellen Wakefield nee Boyce, Glen, Carrigart.

Her remains reposing at her brother, Barney Boyce’s residence at Millbrook House, Glen.

Funeral from there on Sunday going to the Church of St. John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 1pm, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery

Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Frances Quigg late of Gulladuff, Moville

The death has taken place at Culmore Manor Nursing home, Derry of Frances Quigg late of Gulladuff, Moville.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Funeral from her home on Sunday at 9.45am for 10.30am Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Ballinacrea, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret McCallion, Ballyraine Road, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Margaret McCallion, Ballyraine Road, Letterkenny.

Remains reposing at her late residence.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2pm in the Church of the Irish Martyrs.

Burial afterwards in New Leck Cemetery.

Bernard (Ben) Malachy Gallagher, Darney, Bruckless

The death has taken place of Bernard (Ben) Malachy Gallagher, Darney, Bruckless, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital.  Remains reposing at his late residence on Saturday from 3 pm to 8 pm.  Funeral mass on Easter Sunday at 11 am in the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal, Bruckless, Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.   House private please on the morning of the funeral.

Jim Cunningham, Main Street, Carrick

The death has occurred of Jim Cunningham, Main Street, Carrick at Killybegs Community Hospital.

Remains reposing at his daughter Margaret’s home in Carrick, until Sunday morning. Removal to St. Columba’s Church, Carrick for 11am Funeral Mass on Sunday. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House Private to family each night from 10:30pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only. Donations to Killybegs Community Hospital.

 

Josephine McGowan, The Glebe, Stranorlar

The death has taken place of Josephine McGowan, The Glebe, Stranorlar, wife of the late Paddy McGowan.

Peacefully, at the home of her daughter Marie.

Reposing at her late home, The Glebe, Stranorlar today,  Saturday 30th March from 10am to 10pm.

Leaving from there Sunday morning for Requiem Mass at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am with interment immediately after in St Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill, Ballybofey.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to St Joseph’s Hospital, Patient Comfort Fund c/o Martin McGowan, McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar, Co Donegal or any family member.

 

Neilly Andy McGonagle, Cruit Island, Kincasslagh

The sudden death has occurred of Neilly Andy McGonagle, Cruit Island, Kincasslagh.

His remains are reposing in McGlynn's Funeral Home.

Removal at 6.30pm this Saturday evening going to St Mary's Church Kincasslagh for 7pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 10am.

Interment afterwards to Cruit Cemetery.

Michael Keon, Glenties and formerly Portnoo

The death has occurred of Michael Keon, retired Garda, Stonepark, Glenties and formerly Kilclooney, Portnoo.

Removal from his home in Stonepark, Glenties on Sunday afternoon (1st April) to St. Conal's Church, Glenties for Requiem Mass at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family time from 11pm until 11am and on the day of the funeral.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Glenties Day Care Centre. c/o James McGuinness & Sons Funeral Directors, Glenties.

Robert Hutchinson, Buncrana

The death has occurred in Birmingham, England on 19th March 2018 of Robert Hutchinson, Clonbeg, Buncrana.

Robert's remains reposing at his late residence in Clonbeg.

Funeral Leaving on Sunday, 1st April, at 10.20 am for 11 o'clock Mass in St Mary's Church Cockhill, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired to Carndonagh Hospice co/ McKinney Funeral Directors, Buncrana , Co Donegal.

Francis Coyle, 6 Devenish Park, Garrison Co. Fermanagh and formerly of Laughill Belleek

The death has talen place of Francis Coyle, 6 Devenish Park, Garrison Co. Fermanagh and formerly of Laughill Belleek, at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.  

Remains will repose on Easter Sunday at the Sheil Hospital Mortuary, Ballyshannon from 3pm to 6pm and remains will arrive in Mary Queen of Peace Church, Garrison, on Monday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Ward 2 of the S.W.A.H. Enniskillen c/o any family member or Peter Carty Funeral Director Garrison. House private please.
