There was a fantastic day of primary schools camogie and hurling in Buncrana on Friday with the finals of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil competitions.
In the girls section, Woodland NS from Letterkenny won the Roinn 1 camogie title for the third consecutive year when they proved too strong for St. Patrick's National School, Carndonagh.
Woodland NS, coached by Ms. Caitriona Wilson and Aideen Quinn, dominated the final with a wonderful display of camogie.
The Carndonagh girls have to be commended for their display and will no doubt be back to challenge for honours again next year.
The winning shield was presented to Woodland NS captain Tory Ellis by Cumann na mBunscoil chairman, Manus O'Donnell.
St. Patrick's Boys NS, Carndonagh had reason to celebrate later in the day when they won their hurling decider against Woodland NS.
