Huge crowds turned out for the opening of the Supermac Plaza in Donegal Town today.

The complex includes Supermac's, a well stocked carvery with all freshly cooked food, SuperSubs. Deli, Papa Johns, Barista coffee and Londis Convenience Store and Deli.
The exterior of the complex includes a state-of-the-art service station with more than adequate car parking.

Young Amber Dinsmore from Ballintra was the first customer through the door today and a host of well known faces dropped in at various stages to sample the food and beverages and to just wish the staff and proprietors the best of luck. Also there were many members of the Kelly family of Glebe Builders who built the complex.

All in all there was a party atmosphere and every part of the complex was busy.

Ken Foley of Supermac's who also operates in Sligo and Ballina expressed his delight at the huge turnout and thanked everybody concerned including the local community for their great support.
"From the very moment we announced our plans for Donegal Town we have had nothing but unqualified support and encouragement from the local community. It really is great to see the whole thing coming to fruition today."
