With Christmas Day fast approaching, Santa took the opportunity to have a little break in the lovely village of Inver in south Donegal last weekend.
He also used the opportunity to show Mrs Claus the very best of the county.
The couple arrived at Inver Community Centre to be greeted by a mixture of blowing snow and sunshine over Donegal Bay.
Like the other community centres around the county, Inver Community Centre is very much the hub of the local community hosting drama, musicals, preschools and various social events.
Siobhan Coughlan told the Democrat: “It really is great to have both of them here with us; very few of the children have actually met Mrs Claus and even better, they have just brought so many elves with them to help out for the weekend.”
Santa told the Democrat: “As soon as I get the Christmas over I am coming back here to explore the Wild Atlantic Way!”
