Colaiste na Carraige made it four wins in five years in the Donegal senior Vocational Schools final, when they easily accounted for Carndonagh CS in the decider in Castlefin.

Colaiste na Carraige 3-11

Carndonagh CS 0-7

The game was decided in a five minute period either side of half-time when Carrick fired home three goals. Before the first goal Carndonagh led 0-6 to 0-4 and were full value for their lead.

But once Conor Doherty got his hand to a high ball Aodhan McGinley to flick to the net in the 26th minute, the game turned. Ryan Gillespie added a second goal on the stroke half-time and then added another a mere 12 seconds into the second half.

Carndonagh failed to score again until the 54th minute and by that stage Carrick led by 3-9 to 0-6 with Stephen McBrearty and Aodhan McGinley pulling the strings as they ran out very easy winners.
