McBrearty out of luck in Canada

Darren McBrearty from Letterkenny Athletic Club failed to make it out of the heats at theWorld Junior track and field championships in Moncton in Canada last week.

McBrearty was fourth in heat five in a time of 1:51.41, a time that meant he would not progress in the competition as only the top three in each would get through. He was also 13th in his 1,500m heat in 3:52.62.
